When President Donald Trump declared “food for everyone” to adoring fans at the popular Miami restaurant Versailles on Tuesday, he was met with cheers.

But according to a report in a Miami publication, the ex president never picked up the bill and left within 10 minutes without buying food for his supporters. Trump aides have now denied part of the report.

Versailles is a popular stop for politicians campaigning in Miami, and Trump was met by a large group of supporters. While greeting his well-wishers, Trump exclaimed “food for everyone.”

But a source familiar with the matter reported to the Miami New Times that Trump’s visit to Versailles amounted to a 10-minute photo op where not a single item of food was ordered–for Trump or his fans.

Trump’s team denied the first part of the claim. A Trump aide told The Messenger: “We picked up meat pies and pastries. Guava pastry was good.”

Trump advisor Jason Miller tweeted an image of takeout from Versailles on Tuesday.

When contacted, Versailles declined to comment.

Clarification: This story has been updated to reflect that Trump aides say they bought food at the Versailles restaurant.
