‘Multiple blasts’ in Kyiv as bombs rain down and ‘shop on fire’
Russian forces have reportedly launched multiple attacks against Ukrainian troops and infrastructure, according to the latest update from the general staff of the armed forces of Ukraine. In total, the Ukrainian military claims that there were two missile strikes, 23 airstrikes, and 38 attacks from rock salvo systems.
The focus of the offensive is said to be on the Kupyansk, Lymansk, Bakhmutsk, Avdiivsk, and Marinsk directions, with Ukrainian soldiers reporting that they have successfully repelled over 60 enemy attacks.
In response, the Ukrainian air force conducted three strikes against Russian troops, while missile and artillery units reportedly targeted a command post, four troop concentrations, weapons and military equipment, a radio-electronic ware station, and an ammunition depot.
As of now, these claims have not been independently verified.
