Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito revealed to Fox News anchor Shannon Bream that a neighbor of his thinks his wife is a “c***,” which is why she flew a US flag upside down.

At issue, of course, is a stunning New York Times report focused on the upside-down flag flying on its flagpole in the days that followed the riots of January 6th. Not only is an upside-down flag seen as a sign of distress, but it was also used by pro-Trump rioters to symbolize the “Stop the Steal” movement led by former President Donald Trump.

After the 2020 election, Trump falsely convinced his supporters that President Joe Biden and some deep state conspiracy had stolen the election, which, of course, led to the deadly riots of January 6th. The Supreme Court is set to decide on several cases involving the events surrounding this day and whether Trump is immune to criminal charges for his alleged role.

The New York Times’ Jodi Kantor reported on the story, raising serious questions about what partisan biases Alito may have, particularly in any cases that involve election interference and the events of January 6th.

Bream was able to reach Alito for comment, which she shared on X, formerly Twitter, in a four part thread.

“Justice Alito says he and his wife were walking in the neighborhood and there were words between Mrs. Alito and a male at the home with the sign,” wrote Bream. “Alito says the man engaged in vulgar language, ‘including the c-word.’”

Bream also reported that Fox News viewers might be surprised to learn that Justice Alito does not live in a gated community during an appearance on America’s Newsroom in which Dana Perino cast suspicion on the timing of the release of this story.
